Protection of Personal Data

The Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698, which entered into force in 2016, has brought important obligations especially to companies. Some of these include preparing company data inventories, fulfilling the obligation to inform, obtaining explicit consent from relevant persons when necessary, ensuring data security, responding to applications and fulfilling the decisions of the Personal Data Protection Board, and registering in the data controllers registry.
